Candidates who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in our department must meet the criteria specified by the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences of Afyon Kocatepe University, as outlined below:

An approved copy of the ALES score report showing a minimum score of 55 in the quantitative score type.

An approved copy of the Foreign Language Exam result (YDS or an equivalent exam such as TOEFL), as recognized by the Interuniversity Council (ÜAK).*

Graduates of Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Chemistry departments of Faculties of Science and Letters are eligible to apply to the Master’s program.

For applicants who are graduates of departments other than Chemical Engineering, a one-semester Scientific Preparation Program is applied.
* Candidates who have not taken a foreign language exam may also apply to the Master’s program. However, in the evaluation of success, the Foreign Language Score will be considered as ZERO (0), and no foreign language exam will be conducted by the Institute.
Note: For applicants to the Master’s program, the total score—calculated as 50% of the ALES score (or an equivalent score from exams such as GRE or GMAT), 20% of the undergraduate GPA, and 30% of the interview score—must be at least 60 out of 100.
